Volunteering in Times of Need

Al Marwan Machinery had been involved in the National Disinfection Program that was kicked off by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) and Dubai Municipality to ward off the spread of COVID-19. From March 25th to May 20th, 2022, the heavy equipment rental company supplied water tankers for rent and haulers for rent to help clean up and sanitize the city. For around two months, large water trucks roamed the roads of Dubai carrying a harmless disinfectant solution to clean the streets and public facilities in the city. The company, among other volunteering firms, received an appreciation award from Dubai Municipality honoring the corporate social responsibility activities made by them for the betterment of the community.

Social Responsibility

This is not the first time that Al Marwan Machinery has contributed to the nation's health and safety initiatives. In the summer of 2022, the company took part in a national response for the relief and rescue operations of the people affected by the floods that took place in Fujairah. The company dispatched their heavy equipment to affected areas, including excavators for rent, loaders for rent, and dozers for rent to remove debris away from the roads, as well as help with the extraction of affected people in damaged areas.

Al Marwan Machinery has also collaborated with the Clean Up the World initiative in Dubai. This initiative is a global campaign that aims to mobilize communities to clean up, fix up, and conserve the environment. To boost sustainability and protect the environment, the company has participated in several Clean Up the World campaigns in Dubai throughout 2011 to 2018, contributing to the clean-up efforts of parks, beaches, and other public areas. Such contributions have included the use of heavy machinery such as bulldozers and excavators, which have helped to remove large amounts of waste and debris quickly and efficiently. By participating in such initiatives, the company's CSR initiatives are helping to create a cleaner and healthier environment for the community to live in.
