In mid 2022, Al Marwan launched its e-commerce platform: almarwan.com for everything heavy equipment rental and sales, making it easy for customers to purchase and rent machinery online. The company’s participation in the Big 5 was a strategic move to announce this newest solution. They also took the opportunity to announce their partnership with Pronar Recycling, a manufacturer of recycling and waste management equipment. This partnership is a step towards a green, net-zero future, which aligns perfectly with 2023, the year of sustainability.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for the company to get valuable one-on-one time with people from around the GCC and the Middle East, informing them of the region’s first e-commerce website that caters to heavy equipment rental and sale.
At their booth, Al Marwan marked their presence at height with the Kobelco CKS1350 crawler crane; the only crane in all of the Big 5 that was used as part of the installation.
They showcased their Dynapac light and heavy compaction equipment, a number of Kobelco excavators such as the 3-ton SK35SR mini excavator all the way up to the 50-ton SK500XD large excavator, as well as a number of machinery attachments spanning Simex crusher buckets and JSC jackhammers.
In addition to the equipment display, Al Marwan had an interactive photo booth set up at the stand where children and adults alike could interact with the machinery, making it a unique experience that made the Big 5 Heavy accessible for all, and empowered the future generation.
